DualCam ("we", "us", or "our") built the DualCam app ("the App") as a freemium application. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information when you use our App.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Camera & Microphone Access

DualCam requires access to your device's cameras and microphone to provide its core functionality — capturing photos and videos from front and back cameras simultaneously. All media is processed and stored locally on your device. We do not transmit, upload, or access your photos, videos, or audio recordings.

1.2 Photo Library Access

We request access to your photo library solely to save captured media. We do not read, scan, or upload your existing photos or videos.

1.3 Subscription Data

If you subscribe to DualCam Pro, your purchase is processed by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat as a subscription management service. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID to manage entitlements. We do not collect your name, email, payment details, or Apple ID.

1.4 Device Information

We may collect anonymous device information such as device model and iOS version to ensure compatibility (e.g., multi-camera support varies by device). This information is not linked to your identity.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

  • We do not collect your name, email address, or phone number through the App.
  • We do not collect location data.
  • We do not use cookies or tracking technologies.
  • We do not use analytics SDKs that track individual users.
  • We do not sell or share personal data with third parties.

3. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

4. Data Storage & Security

All photos, videos, and app settings are stored locally on your device. We do not operate servers that store your personal data. Subscription status is cached locally and synced through RevenueCat's infrastructure.

5. Children's Privacy

DualCam does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The App does not require account creation or personal data to function.

6. Your Rights

Since we do not collect personal data beyond anonymous subscription identifiers, there is minimal data to manage. If you have questions about your data, you can contact us at the address below.

You can delete the app at any time, which removes all locally stored data. To cancel a subscription, use your Apple ID settings.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
